Vertical Tank Inspection Ring
The Federal SPCC regulation requires that all tanks be visually inspected - including the bottom, to be certain that there is no product leaking into the environment. The Vertical Tank Inspection Rings as shown above allow the owner or operator to be able to look under the tank and determine if there is a problem. This is accomplished by supporting the tank off the ground by 6” so that visual inspection is possible and easy.
J. L. Houston Company builds these rings in all popular diameters and custom sizes are also available. These rings all have 1/4” Steel Support Rings and 6” x 12# H Beam Spokes. Rings are available with optional full bottom for use on less stable surfaces.
